confidence with Burlesque Hall of Fame’s 2024 Queen of Burlesque! In this class, you are led
through a discussion to set intentions, learn movement that challenges your stillness & build
stage presence. Learn to walk the floor, stage routines, find your grounding, and support the
energy you are emoting. By the end of class, whether you perform on stages big or small, this
class will have audiences at your full attention. You’re invited to come explore regardless of
dance experience. This class is intimate. Bring note taking materials, water/hydration.
Performance shoes optional.
Honey Bee Rose is an internationally recognized entertainer based in Chicago, USA and travels
throughout the world performing jaw dropping strip-tease performances in addition to teaching
their infamous stage confidence classes. With a mischievous side smile & unapologetic
prowess, this fiery Latina-Filipina is one of the most hypnotizing artists to watch captivating
audiences worldwide! They are the first recipient to be named Gaggy’s Nightlife Best Burlesque
Entertainer of the Year! and was crowned Burlesque Hall of Fame’s 2024 Mx. Exotic World,
Queen of Burlesque! The Glittering Goddess with the Heart of Gold, Honey Bee Rose has been
pollinating her compassionate love for dancing, teaching & learning for the last decade!

Welcome to the mesmerizing journey into the world of Burlesque at Tease Academy! Our September series includes lectures, movement, and costuming with guest instructors Vera Holiday, Tree City Tease’s own Aiden Antares and Irish Lashes with head mixtress Muff Jones and whole lotta Burly education! Our series is designed to unleash your inner sensuality and empower you with the Art of the Tease. Each week will delve into core elements and allure that define Burlesque.
9/3 - A history of Burlesque (6:15 - 8:15pm)
Lecture and film viewing of the history or Burlesque local & beyond with Muff Jones.
9/10 - Silk Fan dancing (6:15 - 7:15pm)
Master the art of silk fan dancing with Aiden Antares. If you do own a pair of silk fans please bring them, if not we do have fans you can borrow!
9/10 - How to get booked and stay booked. (7:30 - 8:30pm)
Bring your note book to absorb all the “how to’s” with Muff Jones. There will be an open Q&A at the end of the session
9/17 - Break aways & reveals (6:15 - 7:15pm)
Costume building/Lecture with costume designer and tailor Irish Lashes.
9/17 - Tassel Twirling (7:30 - 8:30pm)
Learn the ins and outs of how to get those babies twirling with Vera Holiday.
9/24 The Art of the Tease (6:15 - 8:15pm)
Get INTO it with this two hour class focusing on movement, emotion, and the empowering art of the tease with Muff Jones.
